The Riot Comedy Club has relocated to a new home at 1925 Washington Ave in Houston, moving on from its long run in the upstairs room at Rudyard’s in Montrose. (The Riot also runs a separate room in Conroe — see The Riot Comedy Club — Conroe.) Its bread and butter is tightly-booked weekend headliner showcases — touring comics with credits like Kill Tony, Don’t Tell Comedy, and late-night TV, backed by strong Houston openers.
Tickets are sold through Eventbrite and the shows are intimate by design, so popular weekends genuinely do sell out. The Riot also produces occasional shows at other Houston venues — those appear in our listings under the venue actually hosting them.
