In September 2026, after transgender influencer Briel Adams-Wheatley publicly objected to an onstage joke, Nikki Glaser apologized privately and said she would remove it immediately. “I HATE anti trans jokes of all kinds, and to think I may have added to that rhetoric is disgusting to me,” she said.
Glaser began doing stand-up in college in 2002 after growing up in the St. Louis area. Her specials, from 2016’s Nikki Glaser: Perfect to the 2024 HBO/Max hour Nikki Glaser: Someday You’ll Die, cover sex, dating, sobriety, beauty, aging and death. In a 2023 Salon interview, she said, “I’m always trying to keep it very real.”
Glaser created, hosted and executive produced Comedy Central’s Not Safe with Nikki Glaser, then hosted and executive produced Max’s dating series FBoy Island. She hosted Saturday Night Live in November 2025 and the Golden Globe Awards in 2025 and 2026. Her Hulu special Nikki Glaser: Good Girl premiered in April 2026. The Stunning Tour launched that year.
