In 2026, Angel began streaming Put Some Butter On It, Karen Morgan’s third Dry Bar Comedy special. Angel describes it this way: “Karen Morgan believes brides who give dress codes for guests should have their weddings ruined.” Her material covers parenting, marriage, aging and generational differences.
Karen Morgan began her professional comedy career in 2005, after taking a local comedy workshop while raising three children. A tape sent to Nickelodeon’s Search for the Funniest Mom in America made her one of seven finalists from more than 1,000 applicants. She earned a BFA from the University of Georgia in 1986 and practiced as a trial attorney, a background documented in her University of Georgia profile.
Her 2023 YouTube special Glamour Shots In The Dark includes chapters called “Cassette Tape,” “Perilous Playground,” and “Mean Candy.” Earlier Dry Bar specials include Go Dawgs! from 2020 and Rub Some Dirt On It from 2023. In May 2024, she performed on The Talk’s “Stand Up at THE TALK” segment.
