In June 2026, “Christine: High Voltage” arrived as the 16-track second act to Chrissy Chlapecka’s 2025 project Christine. In a June 2026 Hollywood Rebound interview, she framed the releases in theater-kid terms: “Act One” and “Act Two.”

Chicago-born Chlapecka built a TikTok following with a hyper-feminine bimbo persona and commentary on queer identity, misogyny, and self-confidence. “I don’t do this for the misogynistic male gaze… I do it for my gaze, and damn! My tits look good!” she has said. Her short-form work favors characters and sociopolitical commentary over conventional stand-up premises.

Music and musical theater were central to her upbringing before TikTok became pivotal to her career. Her 2024 debut EP, Girlie Pop, took its name from her own definition: “For me, Girlie Pop is a subgenre of music that I have created based on my own experiences and love for girly, fun, campy, cheeky self-love music that makes you wanna dance.” She also appeared on Craig & Friends in 2021.

Live, Chlapecka turns the material into a colorful, theatrical, vocal-forward pop show for a predominantly queer audience.
