In the early 2000s, Gabriel Rutledge was delivering pizzas in Olympia, Washington. He swapped pepperoni for punchlines and, by 2026, became a comedy circuit staple. His ‘Don’t Read the Comments Tour’ hits Punch Line Houston on Friday, August 21, at 7:00 PM.
Rutledge’s comedy digs into personal yet relatable territory. His 2018 special, “A Third of the Room”, mined family life for laughs. “Nectarine,” released on YouTube in 2020, confirmed his talent for self-deprecation. Live, his quick wit and audience interplay stand out.
Fans of his TV spots on Comedy Central’s “Live at Gotham” or Nickelodeon’s “NickMom Night Out” know his stage presence. Touring from Fargo to Tacoma, his Houston performance will mix polished material with spontaneous moments unique to live comedy.
