Houston Comedy Club Parking: Half These Venues Are Free. The Rest Want 10 to 25 Dollars.

Houston comedy club parking guide cover card on the Comedy Houston dark brand background

A comedy ticket in Houston runs about 20 dollars. Parking next to that ticket costs anywhere from nothing to 25 dollars, and the difference is entirely about knowing before you drive. Nobody publishes this in one place, so we did the checking ourselves: venue FAQs, garage rate pages, and city parking rules, venue by venue, this week. Here is where to put your car for every major comedy room in greater Houston.

The free ones: park and walk in

Parking guide card for the Houston Improv with a green free lot and garage badge over the red Improv comedy theater marquee at night

Houston Improv, 7620 Katy Freeway, sits inside the Marq*E Entertainment Center, and parking there is complimentary. The club’s own info page points you behind the venue and throughout the center, and specifically recommends the parking garage, open up to the 4th floor. Take that advice on Friday and Saturday nights: the surface lot serves a movie megaplex, a gym, and a row of restaurants, so spots near the red marquee vanish early while the garage stays reliable. Details on the room itself live on our Houston Improv page.

Parking guide card for ComedySportz Houston with a free lot badge over the Good Friend Theater lobby with floral wallpaper and neon sign

ComedySportz Houston plays The Good Friend Theater at 8301 Jones Road in northwest Houston. It is a suburban shopping-center lot, free, at the door. This is the easiest parking of any comedy venue in the city.

Parking guide card for The Riot Conroe with a free downtown parking badge over the GuadalaHARRYs building in downtown Conroe

The Riot in Conroe runs upstairs at GuadalaHARRY’s, 219 Simonton St on the downtown Conroe square. Street spots line every direction, with a two hour limit on weekday daytimes and free parking on weekends, and a free public multi-level garage sits on Simonton essentially across the street. Evening shows have it easy. Our Riot Conroe page has the calendar.

Parking guide card for The Den Comedy Club with a free arrive early badge over a moody speakeasy interior with an orchid and dark curtain

The Den Comedy Club hides on the second floor of Wolfsmiths at 201 Woodard St in Lindale Park. Parking is free but modest: a small lot at Wolfsmiths plus neighborhood street spots on Woodard and the Fulton side streets, and both fill quickly on Friday and Saturday. Arrive early or have your rideshare drop you at the Wolfsmiths front door, then follow the white orchids inside to the secret entrance.

Downtown: budget ten to fifteen dollars

Parking guide card for Punch Line Houston with a paid garage ten dollar flat badge over the club stage with brick wall and red curtains

Punch Line Houston lives inside GreenStreet at 1204 Caroline St, near Toyota Center. The venue-recommended move is the GreenStreet Garage, entrance on Clay between Main and Fannin, with a flat 10 dollars covering your whole evening after 4 PM and on weekends, and a skybridge walking you straight into the complex. Valet runs at most shows through GreenStreet. On Rockets nights the nearby garages flip to event pricing and fill, so those evenings reward pre-booking a spot. More on the room at our Punch Line page.

Parking guide card for The Pink Flamingo comedy club noting paid garages nearby, on the Comedy Houston dark brand background

The Pink Flamingo, the new three-floor club in a 1908 former silent movie theater at 1008 Prairie St, has no parking of its own. The One Market Square Garage at 898 Prairie is about a block away with rates starting around 13 dollars, and the Main Street Square rail station sits two blocks off if you would rather skip driving downtown entirely.

The two that break the pattern

Parking guide card for The Secret Group noting street parking is free after 6pm, on the Comedy Houston dark brand background

The Secret Group in EaDo at 2101 Polk St is friendlier than its downtown-adjacent address suggests. Per the venue’s own FAQ, the surrounding street parking is metered but free after 6 PM, which covers nearly every show. The same FAQ suggests the monitored pay lots, typically 10 to 20 dollars, over hunting a free spot a couple of blocks away, and warns that rates climb on big event nights. A reservable lot sits directly across the street on Polk from about 7 dollars. Show listings live on our Secret Group page.

Parking guide card for The Riot Comedy Club with an on-site parking badge over the new brick building and patio on Washington Avenue

The Riot Comedy Club moved into its brand-new home at 1925 Washington Ave in August 2026, a purpose-built 150-seat room next to Julep, so ignore any old parking advice about the Rudyard’s location in Montrose. The new building advertises ample on-site parking. One caution for the street parkers: Washington Avenue sits inside a city parking benefit district where meters run Thursday through Sunday from 6 PM to 2 AM, which is exactly comedy hours, so the club’s own parking beats gambling on the curb. Our Riot page tracks every show there.

Don’t Tell Comedy: your parking note arrives at 8 AM

Parking guide card for Dont Tell Comedy noting the address and parking are revealed by email, on the Comedy Houston dark brand background

Don’t Tell Comedy sells you a neighborhood, not an address. The secret location lands in your inbox by 8 AM on show day, and that email includes the parking details along with BYOB status. Around Houston the host venues run from Katy to Kingwood to The Woodlands, mostly breweries, restaurants, and bars with their own lots, so suburban shows usually park easy. The venue type printed on your ticket page is the best predictor before the reveal, and Rice Village is the one neighborhood where you should expect garage or street parking instead.

Check the listing before you drive

Parking is the one cost of a comedy night nobody prints on the ticket. Now you have the whole map: free at the Improv, ComedySportz, Conroe, and the Den, a flat 10 downtown at Punch Line, about 13 at the Pink Flamingo, free curb after 6 at the Secret Group, and the Riot’s own lot on Washington. Houston runs 65 comedy listings this week alone, and every one of them on our nightly list links straight to the box office with time, price, and venue in one glance. Pick the show, park like a local, and spend the savings at the bar.
